Payout Settings

Payout settings control how and when Lumio transfers your revenue share to you. You must complete developer verification before adding a payout method.

Payout methods

You can configure up to three payout methods. Lumio attempts the primary method first; if it fails, it falls back to the secondary method.

Stripe Connect

Stripe Connect is the fastest payout method. It connects your existing Stripe account (or creates one) and enables automatic payouts within 2 business days of each transaction.

To connect Stripe:

  1. Go to Account → Payout Settings → Add Method → Stripe Connect
  2. You are redirected to Stripe's onboarding flow
  3. Complete Stripe's identity verification (separate from Lumio's verification)
  4. Return to the dashboard — your account is now linked

Stripe Connect payouts:

  • Minimum payout: €1.00
  • Frequency: Automatic, 2 business days after each transaction settles
  • Currencies: EUR, USD, GBP (based on your Stripe account country)
  • Fees: Stripe's standard processing fee (~1.4% + €0.25 for EU cards) is deducted from your share

PayPal

PayPal payouts are batched monthly and require a verified PayPal account with the same email address as your Lumio developer account.

To connect PayPal:

  1. Go to Account → Payout Settings → Add Method → PayPal
  2. Enter your PayPal email address
  3. Lumio sends a €0.01 verification payment — confirm receipt in your PayPal account

PayPal payouts:

  • Minimum payout: €25.00 — balances below this roll over to the next month
  • Frequency: Monthly batch, paid on the 5th of each month for the previous month's earnings
  • Currencies: EUR
  • Fees: PayPal's receiving fee is deducted from your payout

SEPA Bank Transfer

SEPA transfers are available for developers with a bank account in the SEPA zone (EU + EEA + Switzerland + UK).

To configure SEPA:

  1. Go to Account → Payout Settings → Add Method → SEPA
  2. Enter your IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code
  3. Enter the account holder name exactly as it appears on the bank account
  4. Lumio performs a micro-deposit verification (€0.01) — confirm the amount shown in your bank statement

SEPA payouts:

  • Minimum payout: €50.00 — balances below this roll over to the next month
  • Frequency: Monthly batch, paid on the 5th of each month for the previous month's earnings
  • Currencies: EUR
  • Fees: No additional fees from Lumio; your bank may charge a receiving fee

Revenue share

Lumio retains 30% of each transaction as a platform fee. Developers receive 70%, calculated on the gross transaction amount before payment processor fees.

€9.99 one-time€9.99€3.00€6.99

Payment processor fees (Stripe, PayPal) are deducted from your 70% share and depend on the buyer's payment method and country.

Payout schedule

SEPA5th of each month (monthly batch)

If the 5th falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the batch is processed the next business day.

Viewing earnings

Your earnings dashboard is at Account → Payout Settings → Earnings. It shows:

  • Gross revenue — total paid by users
  • Platform fee — Lumio's 30%
  • Processor fees — payment provider fees
  • Net revenue — your actual payout amount
  • Pending balance — amount not yet paid out
  • Paid out — total paid to date

Earnings are broken down by extension and by month.

Changing your payout method

You can add or remove payout methods at any time. Changes take effect for the next payout cycle. In-flight transactions that settled before the change are paid out using the method active at settlement time.

Tax documents

Lumio generates annual earnings summaries available under Account → Payout Settings → Tax Documents. These are for informational purposes — consult a tax professional for your local reporting obligations. US developers receive a 1099-K if applicable; EU developers receive a summary of taxable revenue net of VAT.
